Formal casual. No T-shirts, jeans, or hoodies. We are not looking for black tie, but we are just trying to look good.
The weather in May will be mid 70’s during the day and low 60’s during the night.
The Ceremony will be held across the street from the Berkley Manor, having Silver Lake as the back drop. The Reception will be held at the Berkley Manor in Ocracoke North Carolina.
The Ceremony and Reception will be held mostly outdoors.
Head right into partying and having a good time.
Yes, there will be wedding-week events held the week before the ceremony. Keep up with the itinerary page for more details as they are posted.
Just call us and let us know, we know it’s a far trip for some.
Come to Ocracoke, NC. Head south on highway 12. Turn right onto Water Plant Rd and park in the visitors parking lot. Head across the street to the manor. We will be there to greet you!
You can arrive on the Island anytime before 5.13.22. As for knowing what time to arrive for the Ceremony… That will be posted at a later time, closer to the date. Keep an eye out for updates to the itinerary page.
There is no parking at the Berkley Manor. All parking for the Wedding will be held across the street in the Ocracoke Island’s Visitor Center’s parking lot.
Please speak with Mary Kate and Mikey if you plan on bringing kids.
Seating at the wedding is very limited. You will be informed on your invitation if you have a plus one or not.
We do not have anywhere booked in specific. There are many places to stay on the island. Please see the Travel page for more information.
The deadline for the R.S.V.P is December 30, 2021. You can R.S.V.P online under the R.S.V.P tab.

Transportation will not be provided. We recommend renting a golf cart for your stay on the Island or using the local Shuttle.
We ask you to be as present as possible and refrain from taking pictures. We are paying a skilled photographer to take pictures of our day. We will post all the pictures for everyone to enjoy.
Ocracoke is pronounced with two long “O” sounds – as in “Oh-Crah-Coke”
Yes, you drive your car onto the ferry and you can either stay in your car or move about the ferry.
The ferry ride is about an hour long.
Yes, all you need to do is purchase a permit and display it in your dashboard. You can get the permits by going to the visitor center or going online to purchase one before you come down.
**Please be advised that you need 4X4 WD and to LOWER your tire pressure BELOW 20 PSI***
Yes!! You have to lower your tire pressure to under 20 PSI or else you will get stuck and not be able to move in the sand.
